About Dr. Rami

Dr. Rami is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with recertification and specialization in Vascular and Interventional medicine. He completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) at the University of Michigan in 2004.

Prior to that, he completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the Medical College of Ohio from 2000-2003. Dr. Rami served as Chief Resident while in his final year of residency. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Oakwood Hospital in 1999. Dr. Rami attended Ross University, School of Medicine from 1994-1998, graduating with honors. He attended the University of California at San Diego from 1990-1994, obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience.

Dr. Rami grew up in Southern California. After completing his medical training in the Midwest, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2004. Dr. Rami has been practicing for over 15 years, 7 of those in outpatient ambulatory vascular medicine. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the treatment of varicose veins, having performed over 7,500 ablation procedures.

Dr. Rami has special interests in peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, and Women’s Health, including uterine fibroid embolization treatment for symptomatic fibroids and pelvic congestion (varicose vein) embolization treatment for chronic pelvic pain. In addition to his extensive vascular experience, Dr. Rami also specializes in the treatment of spine and pelvic disorders such as kyphoplasty for the treatment of painful compression fractures of the spine and chronic pain syndromes related to these regions.

Dr. Rami is married to his wife Deborah of 22 years, and they have 4 beautiful daughters- Isabella, Jasmine, Alexandra, and Vanessa. On his time off, Dr. Rami enjoys spending time with his family, hiking the local mountains, and collecting Los Angeles Lakers sports memorabilia.
